Position: Procurement Manager
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for innovative and cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Responsible for searching trustworthy merchants/vendors/suppliers.
- Negotiating with vendors/suppliers.
- Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies.
- Discovering profitable suppliers and initiating procurement partnerships.
- Finalise purchase details such as orders and deliveries.
- Examine the test existing contract.
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Analyse & prepare overall procurement plan for project materials. To track material from Purchase Order (PO) issuance up the delivery of material to shop/site.
- To source material from approved vendors as per client’s or MDMSB requirement.
- Tabulate Commercial Bid Evaluation, evaluate vendors and make recommendations based on technical compliance as per project requirements.
- Negotiate with the vendor on terms and conditions prior PO issuance.
- Coordinate with Project Team / Engineering / QA for technical clarifications leading to issuance of Purchase Order.
- Issuance of Purchase Order and follow-up/expedite suppliers for timely delivery of materials as per Purchase Order terms required.
- To ensure all project materials are supplied with relevant certificates as per project requirements.
- To ensure invoice is received and payment is processed in a timely manner.
- To monitor & evaluate vendor performance and inform QA to re-audit if necessary.
- Develop new vendors from time to time and request QA to audit vendor prior PO issuance.
- Provide guidance to all buyers by ensuring procurement operation is smooth.
The Candidate:
- Degree and Master in Business Administration.
- 29 years of working experience in procurement and supply chain including in oil & gas engineering industry
- Experienced professional with a versatile background in Procurement operations management, Materials Inventory Management, Supply-chain Management, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing Management and Supplier Quality Management.
- Possess skills in import logistics, global sourcing, purchase orders, purchasing, and negotiation.
Client 2: Multinational petrochemical manufacturer
Position 1: Export Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Organizes and oversees the shipment of products to domestic and international locations.
- Prepare and process all required documents and permits for shipping purposes, conduct quality inspections of shipments, and maintain records of all invoices and transactions
- Responsible and oversight of exports sales and order taking activities
- Lead and manage all the export sales activities to achieve timely internal and external customer orders fulfilment.
- Assist Commercial Manager on the annual export customer satisfaction survey
- Maintain interface between Export Customer (both internal and external – oversea), Sales, Logistics and Operation in terms of the order management & demand fulfillment process
- Develop Export Delivery Policy and SOP on order fulfilment which include the order taking process flow, lead-time and recommend logistics providers to achieve lowest logistics cost
- Working closely with Sales Support Manager and Commercial Manager in Implement annual overall cost improvements measures (export portion) to achieve best-in-class rates
- Collates sales demand forecast and order data to develop delivery plan
- Liaise with Technical team on COA issue and any oversea customer complaint on the quality related issues (if any)
- Apply custom form (K2/K8/ZB2) and Form D, E, COO, etc. when necessary and managed oversea sales shipment for documentation preparation and coordination works
- Liaise with other departments, discussing annual company targets, KPIs and agreeing on action plans to be taken with Commercial Manager.
- Develop and maintain operating SOPs in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standard

- Order taking for export sales, delivery arrangement and tracking (change management such as rescheduling, add-on order and order cancellation
- Oversee the export sales activities such as day-to-day processing of customer’s order placement into E1.

- Support Export Sales and Sales Support team in term of annual logistics provider’s performance and costs with Technical team (Purchasing) to derive the lowest delivery route/ mode option at to customers in a timely manner
- Update the Weekly Stock status and Weekly Receipts File
- Support Sales Support Manager (back-up) for the Inventory monitoring
- Assist and managed SI, B/L, packing list, DO, marine insurance purchase and other related export documents for export cargos such as finished goods and raw materials
- Monitor and assist Commercial Manager for the oversea customer payment and collection
- Develop oversea customer satisfaction goals and coordinate with the Sales/Logistics team to meet them on a steady basis
- Maintain accurate records and document all oversea customer activities and discussions.
- Compile service statistics and prepare detailed reports on delivery, also key-in any customer compliant into FMIS
- Follow up on customer feedback
- Undertake any additional assignment as may be directed by Commercial Manager
The Candidate
- Familiar and knowledge of custom forms, import & export permits, custom clearance and declaration
- Experience in handling export cargo
- Good Command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Degree in Industrial Logistics
- 10 years of working experience in logistics, shipping, import and export

Position 2: Customer Service Executive (Logistics Specialist)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible and oversight of CS activities
- Lead and manage customer service activities to achieve timely customer orders fulfilment and customer support to the stakeholders
- Assist Sales Manager and Sales Support Manager on the annual customer satisfaction survey
- Maintain interface between Customer, Sales, Transporter, Logistics and Operation in terms of the order management & demand fulfilment process
- Develop Delivery Policy on order fulfilment lead-time and recommend logistics providers to achieve lowest logistics cost. Implement annual cost improvements measures to achieve best-in-class rates as directed by Line Managers
